By the Grace of God and the blessings of our parents, we cordially request the honor of your presence to attend the wedding of
Raynard and Jessica met for the first time in December 2009 at a Superteen Camp near Lembang, West Java. What was meant for a motivational camp, turns out to be the beginning of a love journey between two teenagers that God intended.
Little did they know, they met again in 2011 and became students of two schools that shared the same complex. They would meet during break times and share their glances and shy smiles on their way to the school canteen.
Love Takes Root & The Distance
By 2014, as Raynard pursued his studies in the United States and Jessica pursued hers in Shanghai, God had a plan to bring them together to fulfill His purpose in them through their relationship. As a long-distance couple, they continue to make efforts with countless video calls, surprise visits, and sending postcards, proving to the world that LDR does work even though they had airports as both their favorite and most hated place.
Reunited & Stronger
3 years later, after they graduated college and went back for good to Jakarta, they were finally reunited and ready to start the next phase of their love story. Through the highs and lows of life, they continue to grow together, having God as their cornerstone and the center of their relationship.
A New Beginning
It is only by the grace of God that in 2024 they are finally ready to begin their journey in marriage, with a clear purpose and vision from God: that they are Blessed to be a Blessing. Surrounded by the people they love, they will begin their greatest adventure yet, having God as their compass and prayers as their strongest weapon. Together, with hearts full of love and excitement, they are overjoyed to look forward to finding out what God has in store for them.
